Simple rowan bead necklace (PE1217)

This simple, tactile bead is carved from rowan wood. Rowan is considered to be protective and is associated with familiars, spirit guides and elementals.

The bead is supplied with leather or cotton cord thong and can be hung:

- vertically (hanging style 1 on the numbered photo - the thong is doubled and threaded through the resulting loop at the top of the bead so the bead will sit vertically)

or

- horizontally (hanging style 2 on the numbered photo - the thong is threaded through singly so the bead will sit horizontally when the thong is tied closed for a necklace).
