The figure is perfect to place beneath your pillow, or upon a surface near your bed. They also feel good to hold during meditation or for ritual use. For carrying in pockets, or for use whilst sleeping, we recommend popping the amulets into a small protective bag.
The figure is filled with dried fly agaric, and more of our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. Fly agaric is a famous fungi known from mythology and fairy tales, and is considered to have strong associations with witchcraft and the Fae. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn which was carefully gathered at the time of the Spring Equinox.
It is infused with the energies of this potent ancient herb blend from inside and will make an excellent companion to aid you on your dream journeys.
A bindrune for protection has been added to the base.
General information
Similar to the Tree Spirit figures, Kindred Spirits, and Hag Spirits, these are our smaller Dream Walker figures. They are based on the prehistoric anthropomorphic figures found in Britain and Europe during archaeological excavations. Many of the originals reside in museum collections. These figures are Spirit of Old's take on what prehistoric people were making and using in the area, and an interpretation of their spirituality - an ancient idea brought forward for use in modern witchcraft.
The Dream Walkers have a defined purpose: protection during sleep. Each figure is created specifically with this in mind, and they are crafted from carefully gathered, earthy materials sourced locally. The main wood of each Dream Walker is selected from a variety including yew root, hazel and blackthorn from the Stonehenge area, and also from British bog oak from Suffolk, dated to the the Iron Age, so just over two thousand years old. Some, though not all, of the figures are free-standing.
