Delivery Information

Made to order or custom made items will have a timescale given (usually somewhere around 4-8 weeks, though it can vary) at the time of ordering. As everything is individually hand crafted, timescales can change a little occasionally so this is an estimate rather than exact. If anything is likely to be be much different though, we'll let you know.

Stock items are generally posted out once a week. We can be flexible though, so if you need an item urgently or for a set date please email [email protected] and I can advise on what's possible.

How will my item/s be sent?

We usually post via Royal Mail though this can change occasionally, if necessary. Items are sent with tracking and insurance, and sometimes a signature may be needed on delivery. International items are sent via airmail unless otherwise specified.

Can you send my item using an expedited service?

If you need an item urgently or for a set date please feel free to email [email protected] and I can advise on what's possible.

If you are in the UK and would like to upgrade to Special Delivery for a more certain delivery date, please email and I can arrange that with you. It is sometimes also possible to send non-UK items via an expedited service, but the prices can be high! If you're interested in this, I can to send no-obligation quotes so you can find a speed and price you're happy with.

How can I find tracking information?

If you've received a dispatch email from us containing a Royal Mail tracking number, please enter the number at https://www.royalmail.com/track-your-item#/ to find updates on your package.

If you're outside of the UK, you can often find further information by entering the same number on your own country's postal system website (eg. USPS in USA, Canada Post in Canada, etc), though those websites often only show information after the package has been passed on to them.

My tracking number isn't working

I tend to pack items through the week and then post all the packages out together on my next posting trip so there may be a gap of a few days between your dispatch email arriving and your package being physically posted. The tracking number becomes "live" once your package has been physically posted so you'll know when it's on its way.

Very occasionally, a tracking number may need to be changed after the dispatch email has been sent. If this happens, I'll get in touch to let you know but, even with the best laid plans, there's always the slight possibility that the number may not have been updated. If your tracking number isn't working several days after the dispatch email, please get in touch and I'll be happy to look into it for you.

My package isn't moving on the tracking

Packages often seem to stop and start on their journeys, especially if they're heading outside the UK. The exit point of leaving the UK and the entry points into another country are the usual spots where they can seem to "stick" for a while. It's usually just for a very short time but can just occasionally be a little longer. Unfortunately, I have no control over this, but the packages will usually suddenly begin moving again and then will usually arrive with the recipient fairly swiftly. If you're still concerned, please get in touch.

Customs charges/restrictions

If you're outside of the UK you may be required to pay customs charges and/or comply with your country's import regulations and these are the responsibility of the customer. This also applies to customers within the EU.

Postage costs for European customers, and for orders containing multiple items

We try to estimate postage and packing costs as accurately as possible, but it can be a little more variable when posting outside of the UK and when posting multiple items together. We generally have two postal prices listed per item: for UK and for non-UK destinations. Occasionally, it may be possible to find a slightly cheaper service to European destinations, and it may also be possible to give a more accurate quote for multiple items when they can be weighed and measured together.

If you would like a postage quote before purchasing, please email me, Louise, at [email protected] and let me know the item number/s and the destination country and I can see what's possible.
