Burr Bog Oak Wolf Mother Pendant (PE1628)

£60.00 Past item

This wolf mother pendant is carved into a Celtic stylised wolf, an animal which has long been regarded with awe. Ceridwen, the Celtic moon and fertility Goddess was associated with wolves and there are many myths and legends about the wolf being a close companion of humans and tales of nurture. Conversely, the wolf's ferocity is also well told, reminding us of their power. The wolf has associations with the moon, wisdom and in Celtic lore, also with winter from Samhain to Imbolc.

The pendant is newly carved from burr bog oak from the Norfolk area of Britain which is around 2,000 years old. Along with the wonderful colour, it also has beautiful natural markings within it.

The pendant is filled with our Druid's herb blend and includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn.

The back of the pendant has a bindrune for protection added and this can be seen in the last photo.

If you have a preference between cotton cord or leather thonging please add a note in the message box during checkout.
