Spiral Amulets (PE1778)

This wonderful group of pendants are all newly carved with a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and life force. They are comfortingly warm and tactile, inviting you to hold and touch them.

The pendants are all filled with dried fly agaric, and our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. Fly agaric is a famous fungi known from mythology and fairy tales, and is considered to have strong associations with witchcraft and the Fae.

Pendants #1 and #2 are both made from the root of a windfallen holloway oak. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

Pendants #3 and #5 are both made from rowan wood which was respectfully gathered from a Wessex barrow cemetery. Rowan is traditionally considered to have many protective qualities. The herbs are sealed inside #3 with a plug of ancient Fenland bog oak from Suffolk, and #5 with a plug of mistletoe.

Pendant #4 is made from hazel wood which was carefully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient site of Stonehenge in southern Britain. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

Pendants #6, #7 and #8 are all made from the root of a windfallen yew tree. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of ancient Fenland bog oak from Suffolk.
