This elemental necklace is crafted from a ring of ancient bog oak. The front of the pendant contains four plugs of wood:
- ash to represent fire
- birch for air
- alder for its connections with water
- yew to represent the element of earth
The back has runic script which has been translated into old Norse meaning "I weave my magick". A plug of yew wood, gathered from near to Stonehenge in southern Britain, has been added to the side to show the beginning of the text.
The wood forming the main ring of the pendant is bog oak, from the area of the Sweet Track, a Bronze age trackway in the Somerset Levels near Glastonbury. It is approximately 3,000 years old and is a beautifully rich colour. This piece feels full of positive energies and is supplied with a cord or leather thong - if you have a preference, please add a note in the message box during checkout.
