Hola Weg Sláh-þorn Pendants (PE1815)

These ring pendants are crafted from warm-coloured hola weg sláh-þorn (Anglo-Saxon for holloway blackthorn). The wood was carefully gathered from a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). It's traditionally considered to be a plant of magick and secrets.

The pendants have a plug of each of the three Faery woods added to the front: oak, ash and hawthorn. The back has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect and this can be seen in the second-to-last photo.

A small indentation in the wood is placed on the side next to the front oak plug. The front plugs then continue in the order above in a sunwise/clockwise fashion.

The pendants are comfortingly warm and tactile, inviting you to hold and touch them.
