Deer Bone Beads (PE1807)
These chunky beads have been crafted from Wessex fallow deer bone.
Bead #1 has a spiral pattern on one side and a bindrune for protection on the other. Beads #2 and #3 have a single spiral on one side, and the other side has the Anglo-Saxon rune ingwaz added, which represents fertility. Bead #4 has a tree of life and the back is left smooth and plain.
Spirals have been used since ancient times as a symbol of life and lifeforce.
If you have a preference between cotton cord or leather thonging please add a note in the message box during checkout (or you can simply email [email protected] afterwards).
The beads can be threaded horizontally (shown with the top two beads in the first picture) or vertically (shown with the lower two beads in the first picture). Again, please add a note if you have a preference.
