Twisty Blackthorn Tree Spirit (TS087)

This small, naturally shaped Tree Spirit figure has been created from naturally twisty blackthorn wood, a rare find! The piece contains wonderful shapes and a range of beautifully rich and varied colours and textures.

The figure is incredibly tactile, so feels good to hold during meditation or for ritual use. It is filled with dried mugwort and betony, soothing herbs from folklore which are traditionally considered to aid protection and dispel negativity.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of hazel wood which was respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the ancient, sacred site of Stonehenge in southern Britain.
