Stonehenge Willow Hag Spirit (HGS31)

This natural and earthy Hag Spirit figure has been created from a piece of willow which was gathered with respect and care from the land surrounding Stonehenge in southern Britain. The piece contains a hole within it, reminiscent of a hagstone. Within mythology, hags are powerful and complex female figures.

The figure is incredibly tactile, so feels good to hold during meditation or for ritual use. It has a woven cloak which can be seen in the last photo. A hand carved mistletoe bead, a , a bundle of raven and tawny owl feathers, and a medicine bag complete the figure. The bag, and the figure itself, are both filled with our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace. The bag also contains dried dried rowan berries, traditionally associated with protection. The herbs are sealed inside the Hag Spirit with a plug of blackthorn which was carefully gathered at the time of Samhain.

A bindrune for ancestral connection has been added to the base of the figure.
