Solstice-Born Saxon Kindred Spirit (KS054)

This naturally shaped, Solstice-born Kindred Tree Spirit figure was crafted during Yule from the root of a windfallen yew tree. The tree grew for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon times, and the piece contains wonderful textures and a range of beautifully rich and varied colours and markings.

The figure is incredibly tactile, so feels good to hold during meditation or for ritual use. It is adorned with the flight feather of a raven and a medicine bag. The bag, and the figure itself, are both filled with our Druid's herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside the figure with a plug of blackthorn wood, traditionally considered a plant of magick and secrets.
