Saxon Yew Tree Bead Necklace (PE1562)

This simple, tactile Tree Bead necklace has two beads. The larger is carved windfallen yew from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The piece contains interesting markings and a range of beautiful colours.

The small bead is locally gathered mistletoe. Mistletoe was once considered sacred to the Druids and was known as "Druad-las" meaning "the Druid's plant". Each Tree Bead is individually handmade and the beautiful colouring within the wood makes each one unique.
