Saxon Yew Raven Amulet (DAM537)

This dream amulet is newly carved into a detailed Raven's head. Ravens have strong associations with the Celtic God Bran who has both underworld and solar connections and they also have further links with water and prophecy.

The wood is windfallen yew from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The piece contains interesting markings and a range of beautiful colours.

The raven's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home. The amulet is adorned with a Hampshire hazelnut with a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and lifeforce. Raven feathers complete the amulet, along with a large hawthorn, a piece of quartz crystal, and a medicine bag filled with dried mugwort and betony.

The raven is filled with our Druid's herb blend and includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge and they are sealed inside with a plug of ancient Suffolk bog oak.
