Saxon Yew Protective Spirit Amulet (PS040)

This simply shaped Protective Spirit amulet has been newly carved from windfallen yew from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The piece contains a range of markings and warm colours.

There is a sense that the amulet invites being held, making it perfectly suited for holding during meditation or sleep. Alternatively, it's the perfect size for slipping into a pocket and holding in the hand whilst walking.

The piece is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn which was carefully gathered at the Summer Solstice.

The eyes are finished with garnets, and the back of the figure has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect.
