Saxon Runic Sunwheel Pendant (PE1898)

This sunwheel pendant has been newly created to honour a timeless symbol. The sunwheel, an ancient emblem of life and vitality, has been lovingly crafted to celebrate the return of the sun’s warmth and light.

The pendant is made from warm-toned hawthorn wood, respectfully gathered from the land near Stonehenge in southern Britain. Hawthorn is steeped in tradition and is closely associated with love, making it a meaningful material for this piece.

The back of the pendant has Saxon runes saying "Tō beorgan", meaning to protect, and this can be seen in the last photo.

Supplied with a cotton cord, the pendant offers a simple tie closure and adjustable length to suit your preference.
