Saxon Eagle amulet (DAM501)

This dream amulet is carved into a detailed Eagle's head. Eagles have strong associations with the Sky Gods and ancestral knowledge. They also have solar connections and further links with healing and resurrection, making them a highly revered bird of prey since ancient times.

The wood is windfallen yew from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and the piece contains interesting markings and colours.

The eagle's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home. The amulet is adorned with an acorn, and a red deer antler tip with a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and lifeforce. Kestrel feathers and a herb-filled medicine bag complete the amulet.
