This smooth, tactile wood ring is newly carved from ancient oak from the Savernake Forest in southern England. The wood is from a windfallen branch of a still-living tree which is around 800 years old.
The markings in this piece are beautifully special, showing the character of the wood. The ring itself is wonderfully warm, chunky, and intended as a ceremonial or ritual statement item to wear.
