Moon pendants (PE1466) (Prices vary)

Each of these smooth, tactile pendants is carved to represent a moon. Pendant #1, on the left, is carved from beautifully warm-coloured windfallen yew from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and the piece contains interesting markings and a range of beautiful colours.

Pendant #2 is carved from rowan wood which has strong associations with protection. Pendant #3 is carved from warm-coloured hawthorn wood which was carefully and respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

Pendants #4 and #5 are both carved from oak wood which has some beautiful markings within it. Oak is considered to be a tree of persistence and endurance. Known as the King of the Forest, it is traditionally associated with strength and courage.

Each pendant is filled with our Druid's herb blend and includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn wood (pendants #1-3), traditionally considered a plant of magick and secrets or holly (pendants #4 and #5), traditionally associated with life as it is green all year round.
