Itchen blackthorn Raven amulet (DAM489)

This dream amulet is carved into a detailed Raven's head. Ravens have strong associations with the Celtic God Bran who has both underworld and solar connections and they also have further links with water and prophecy.

The wood is windfallen blackthorn wood, carefully and respectfully gathered from the site of a sacred spring which is the source of the River Itchen in Hampshire, a place with ancient fertility connections and associated with the prehistoric British Goddess Ica.

The raven's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home. The amulet is adorned with an acorn, a hawthorn, and a Hampshire hazelnut with a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and lifeforce.
