Irish Bog Yew Crow Amulet (DAM606)

£180.00 GBP Sold Out

This dream amulet is carved into a detailed crow's head. Crows are considered to be birds of prophecy and visions. Like the shaman, they are said to look with one eye into the conscious world and with one eye into the inner world and see beneath the surface.

The crow is newly carved from beautifully rich-coloured Irish bog yew wood which is, incredibly, around 4,000 years old. The warm-toned wood feels full of positive energies.

The crow's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home.

The amulet is adorned with a piece of quartz, a simple deer bone bead, and a rounded bead made from the root of a Saxon yew which grew upon an ancient boundary line. Raven feathers and a medicine bag complete the amulet.

The medicine bag is filled with our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace. The bag also contains dried rowan berries, traditionally associated with protection.

The crow itself is also filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. Dried white horehound and fly agaric are added to the mix. White horehound is considered to be one of the best plants to use for warding off evil spirits and keeping negativity away, and is well-known for its use against hexes and curses. Fly agaric is a famous fungi known from mythology and fairy tales, and is considered to have strong associations with witchcraft and the Fae.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe.

This amulet is infused with the energies of this potent ancient herb blend from inside and will make an excellent guide to aid you on your dream journeys.
