Holloway Oak Tree Spirit (TS089)

This beautiful Tree Spirit figure has been made from a piece of windfallen ancient oak. The tree continues to grow within a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The wood is warm in colour, and feels full of positive energies.

The figure is incredibly tactile, so feels good to gently hold during meditation or for ritual use.

A boar's tooth has been added, along with a string of dried rowan berries. The figure is also adorned with raven feathersa raven's foot, and a Hampshire hazelnut with a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and lifeforce.

A woven cloak, and a medicine bag complete the figure. The bag contains dried rowan berries, traditionally associated with protection, and our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace.

The figure itself is filled with dried fly agaric, and more of our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. Fly agaric is a famous fungi known from mythology and fairy tales, and is considered to have strong associations with witchcraft and the Fae. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn which was carefully gathered at the time of the Spring Equinox.

The base of the figure has a bindrune for protection added and this can be seen in the last photo.
