Holloway Oak Owl Amulet (DAM596)

This dream amulet is carved into an owl, traditionally associated with dreams and night journeys. The owl is newly carved from windfallen ancient oak wood from a still-living tree. The wood was carefully gathered from a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The wood is a beautifully warm colour and feels full of positive energies.

The owl is free-standing on a flat surface and is very tactile - perfect for holding during sleep or meditation. It is filled with dried fly agaric, and our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. Fly agaric is a famous fungi known from mythology and fairy tales, and is considered to have strong associations with witchcraft and the Fae. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of blackthorn gathered at the time of the Spring Equinox.

This amulet is infused with the energies of this potent blend from inside and will make an excellent guide to aid you on your dream journeys.

The base of the amulet has a bindrune for protection added and this can be seen in the last photo.
