Forest Friend Solstice Oak Owl Bead (PE1884)

This beautiful bead pendant is newly carved, with protective intent, into an owl. Owls are traditionally associated with dreams and night journeys.

The bead is crafted from the Winter Solstice-gathered root of a windfallen ancient oak. The tree grew within a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The piece contains wonderfully warm colouring and beautiful markings within the wood. It feels full of positive energies.

The owl will hang horizontally when threaded and is supplied with cotton cord or leather thonging - if you have a preference please add a note in the message box during checkout.
