Forest Friend Saxon Yew Owl Bead (PE1605)

This beautiful bead pendant is newly carved into an owl. Owls are traditionally associated with dreams and night journeys. It has been carved from the root of a windfallen yew. The tree dates back to around a thousand years ago, the time of the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. The piece contains interesting markings and a range of beautiful colours.

The owl will hang horizontally when threaded and is supplied with cotton cord or leather thonging - if you have a preference please add a note in the message box during checkout.
