Forest Friend Bog Oak Owl Bead (PE1575)

This beautiful bead pendant is newly carved into an owl. Owls are traditionally associated with dreams and night journeys. The wood is ancient bog oak from the Somerset area of southern Britain, the fabled Isle of Avalon. It's around 2,300 years old and dates back to the Iron Age. It is beautifully rich in colour and feels full of positive energies.

The owl will hang horizontally when threaded and is supplied with cotton cord or leather thonging - if you have a preference please add a note in the message box during checkout.
