Fenland Crow Amulet (DAM634)

This dream amulet is carved into a detailed crow's head. Crows are considered to be birds of prophecy and visions. Like the shaman, they are said to look with one eye into the conscious world and with one eye into the inner world and see beneath the surface.

The crow is carved from beautifully dark Fenland bog oak which is around 2,300 years old, dating back to the time of the Iron Age.

The crow's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home.

The amulet is adorned with a piece of quartz and a red ochred animal bone. The red ochre is from a traditional source, the Luberon mountains in France. Raven feathers and a medicine bag complete the amulet.

The medicine bag is filled with our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace. The bag also contains dried rowan berries, traditionally associated with protection.

The crow itself is filled with more of our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge. The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of Summer solstice-gathered holloway blackthorn.
