Fenland Bog Oak Crow Amulet (DAM570)

This dream amulet is carved into a detailed Crow's head. Crows are considered to be birds of prophecy and visions. Like the shaman, they are said to look with one eye into the conscious world and with one eye into the inner world and see beneath the surface.

The crow is carved from beautifully dark Fenland bog oak which is around 2,300 years old, dating back to the time of the Iron Age.

The crow's primary purpose is for hanging near the bed for a dream charm or in a special corner to encourage positive energies into your home.

The amulet is adorned with a piece of quartz, and a Hampshire hazelnut. The hazelnut has a spiral added, an ancient symbol of life and lifeforce. A medicine bag and raven feathers complete the amulet.

The medicine bag, and the crow itself, are both filled with our protective herb blend, created from herbs which are traditionally considered to aid protection and bring energies of peace. The herbs are sealed inside the crow with a plug of blackthorn which was carefully gathered at the time of Samhain.
