Saxon yew Faery ring pendant (PE1347)

£60.00 GBP Past item

This Faery Ring necklace is crafted from a ring of beautifully grained yew wood. The front of the pendant contains three plugs of wood which are traditionally considered to be the Faery woods: oak, ash and hawthorn. The back has Old Norse runic script saying "Til verja", meaning to protect. A small plug of 5,000 year old Irish bog yew wood has been added to the side to show the beginning of the text.

The main ring of the pendant has been carved from windfallen yew wood from a still-living tree. The tree has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age, and feels full of positive energies. It is supplied with cord or leather thong - if you have a preference, please add a note in the message box during checkout.
