Rowan Spiral Ogham Beads (PE1809)

Newly carved chunky bead pendants with a spiral, an ancient symbol of life and life force. The beads are carved from rowan wood which is traditionally considered to be a tree of protection.

The back of each bead has the ogham symbol for rowan added and this can be seen in the second-to-last photo.

These are larger, chunkier beads which some people may prefer for ritual wear than for every day, though it's up to personal preference of course. For the best idea of scale please see the centre photo showing bead #2 against a woman's average-sized hand.
