Moon Pendants (PE1801)

These smooth, tactile moon pendants are all newly carved from different woods:

Pendant #1 is carved from beautifully rich-coloured wood from a windfallen ancient oak which is around 1,100 years old, dating back to the Saxon Age.

Pendant #2 is carved from ancient bog oak from the Glastonbury area of southern Britain, the fabled Isle of Avalon. The wood is around 2,300 years old and dates back to the Iron Age.

Pendant #3 is carved from ancient bog yew which is around 4,000 years old and from the Co. Roscommon area of Ireland.

The pendants are all filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside #1 and #2 with a plug of mistletoe, and inside #3 with a plug of heather.

Our larger pendants may be more suited to ritual wear than for every day, though it's up to personal preference of course. For the best idea of scale please see the last photo showing pendant #3 against a woman's average-sized hand.
