Hare Fertility Amulet (DAM611)

This amulet is crafted from ancient bog oak and carved into a beautiful hare. Hares are traditionally associated with fertility, and the moon.

The wood is beautifully dark Fenland bog oak which is around 2,300 years old, dating back to the time of the Iron Age.

The hare is free-standing on a flat surface and is very tactile - perfect for holding during sleep or meditation. The amulet is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of mistletoe gathered from a beautiful holloway.

The base of the hare has the Anglo-Saxon rune Ingwaz added, which represents fertility. This can be seen in the last photo.
