Glastonbury Oak Tree Bead Necklace (PE1564)

This simple, tactile Tree Bead necklace has two beads. The larger is carved from burr oak from Glastonbury, the fabled Isle of Avalon. It's sourced from a windfallen tree which is around 1,000 years old and contains beautiful colours and markings.

The small bead is locally gathered mistletoe. Mistletoe was once considered sacred to the Druids and was known as "Druad-las" meaning "the Druid's plant". Each Tree Bead is individually handmade and the beautiful colouring within the wood makes each one unique.

It is supplied with leather or cotton cord thong. If you have a preference about the thonging type please add a note in the message box during checkout.
