Forest Friend Blackthorn Owl Bead (PE1835)

This beautiful bead pendant is newly carved into an owl. Owls are traditionally associated with dreams and night journeys. The bead is newly carved from windfallen blackthorn wood which was carefully gathered from a beautiful holloway, a lane walked by people dating back into the mists of time (read more here). The wood is a beautifully warm colour and feels full of positive energies.

The owl will hang horizontally when threaded and is supplied with cotton cord or leather thonging - if you have a preference please add a note in the message box during checkout.
