Bog Oak Spiral Amulet (PE1818)

This wonderful piece is newly carved into a simple and tactile pendant with a spiral, an ancient symbol of life and life force. It has been carved from bog oak, from the area of the Somerset Levels near Glastonbury, the fabled Isle of Avalon. The wood is approximately 3,200 years old, dating back to the Iron Age, and is a beautifully deep, rich colour.
It's predominantly dark in appearance, but may contain some warm brown streaks, and it feels full of positive energies.

The pendant is filled with our protective herb blend which includes herbs respectfully gathered from the land surrounding the sacred site of Stonehenge.

The herbs are sealed inside with a plug of Summer Solstice-gathered holloway blackthorn.
