Saxon Faery ring pendant (PE1225)

£45.00

This simple, tactile ring pendant is carved from warm-coloured yew wood. The wood was naturally windfallen and from a still-living tree which has been growing for around a thousand years, dating back to the Saxon Age. It is beautifully colourful and feels full of positive energies.

It contains three plugs of wood which are traditionally considered to be the Faery woods: oak, ash and hawthorn and the wood types are added in a clockwise pattern around the front of the pendant. The back has old Norse runic script "Til verja" meaning "to protect". A plug of yew wood, from the area of Stonehenge in southern Britain, has been added to the side to show the beginning of the text.

The pendant is supplied with cord or leather thong - if you have a preference, please add a note in the message box during checkout.

Pendant size: 1.5 inches/ 4 cm across (approx.)
